Barry Haworth has been coaching at Assumption since 1999. After coaching several teams in California, Coach Haworth began coaching at Assumption in 1999, serving as the Assistant Coach for Track and Field. He started as an Assistant Coach with the Cross Country program in 2000 before being named the Head Coach in 2004. In his time as the Cross Country Head Coach the Rockets have won 9 State Championships. In 2021 Coach Haworth was named the US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Girl’s High School Cross Country Coach of the Year for Kentucky. He has also served as the Head Coach of the Track & Field team since 2007.
